This group began in 1937 and has been continually active in the community. The purpose of the Book Guild is to "foster literary activity in the community and promote the Public Library."
Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month from September through May, with exceptions for holidays.
The December meeting is the first Thursday of the month, when a potluck dinner is followed by decorating the library for the Christmas season.
Dues are $5.00 per person and are used for programs during the year.
