All four of our library branches host monthly book clubs. Copies of the books are available at the host branch or via the catalog.
Library eCards are available for people who need to access to the library's digital materials and services but are not able to visit in-person.
Library staff are able to assist people with their computer skills and electronic gadgets. We can assist you with general questions or training on specific library applications.

Unattended Children Policy

Birchard Public Library of Sandusky County

Birchard Public Library welcomes children of all ages. Because the library is a public building, it is vital that a parent or caregiver gives continuous supervision to young children. In addition to the Library Code of Conduct, the Board of Trustees of Birchard Public Library has adopted the following Safe Child Policy.

Mondays at 10:00 am
High energy storytime with stories, songs, dances, and fingerplays.

Class Visits
We can provide lessons on research and library skills, or we can read a story to your class. We can also treat your students to a special behind-the-scenes tour of the library. Call the Youth Services Department to coordinate a visit at (419) 334-7101, ext 1175.
